Willowmore

Willowmore is situated halfway between Graaff Reinet and George just off the N9.  If travelling from the Western Cape, a person can choose to travel on the scenic R62 and explore some of the smaller Karoo towns along the way, like Montagu, Barrydale, Ladismith, Calitzdorp, Oudtshoorn and De Rust.

Willowmore is known as the Western Gateway to the Baviaans, due to the fact that it is the last town before entering the Baviaanskloof area. For the 4x4 enthusiast, this makes it the ideal place to stop to shop for supplies and to fill up with fuel before heading off into the reserve. More information on the Baviaanskloof here

Willowmore is also in reasonably close proximity to some of the countries most scenic mountain passes like: Meiringspoort (120km); Swartberg (194km), Gamkaskloof (232km) and more.
