Amenities

The Self Catering Cottage is a spacious, well equipped, 2-3 sleeper cottage.  It is ideally suited for a couple but can accommodate a small family.  

The design of the cottage caters for all the travellers needs, featuring a separate bedroom with double bed, en-suite bathroom (shower only), open plan kitchen, comfortable living area with free WiFi, a smart TV with access to Netflix and limited DSTV.  

Outside is a lovely braai, in an enclosed area with safe, secure parking.

The Cottage is completely off the power grid, so the appliances have been well chosen to be more power efficient.  Your stay will not be affected by load shedding at all.

Bedroom and bedding

The cottage comprises of a queen sized bed with en-suite bathroom. A single bed in the lounge area as well as a loose mattress.

Bedding and towels are provided.
In summer – a comforter.
In winter – electric blankets on the beds, a down duvet as well as additional blankets.

Hairdryer.

Wardrobe with hanging and shelf space.

Bathroom

The bathroom has a shower only, which operates on a gas geyser (there will always be hot water).

Due to the fact that all our water goes into a grey water system, we provide eco-friendly body wash/shampoo & hand wash.

Kitchen

Open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. Kitchen area has an island which can be used as a work space if necessary.

Fully equipped kitchen which has the following:

  • 2 plate gas hob for cooking

  • kettle and toaster

  • fridge/freezer

  • cutlery/crockery

  • mugs/glasses

  • pots/pans

  • serving dishes & snack plates

  • bodem

Filtered drinking water provided.

Lounge

Comfortable lounge with 2x2 seater couches.

Smart TV for your entertainment.  Netflix and limited DSTV available.  Bring your Showmax and other app login details should you require more.

Some cards and other games.

WiFi is provided.

Outside area

There is an outside braai with grids and tongs etc. We provide a bag of wood for each booking, thereafter wood can be obtained from us if needed.

Enjoy your morning cup of coffee sitting on the bench under the pine tree and listening to the sound of the birds in the tree or the town beginning to stir to life.

A splash pool is available to all the guests at both units to enjoy.

Security

Secure “off street” parking is available behind locked gate.
Burglar bars and a security gate.
Passive alarms which can be activated if required.
